What you need to know to be a Constellation Air Scout:

Troop colours: Red, White and Blue

All constellations scouts are intimately aquainted with the term "blatting", root word blat. (Most dictionaries do not contain it)

(We're not quite sure what else but most of involves knowing how to run and duck and how not to tick off fellow troop members)

Oh and Never forget to include "thankyou for logic and all other scouting principles" at the end of every prayer.

History

At this point the reasons behind “Constellation Air Scouts” need to be explained. it is not one troop but rather a collaboration by necessity of 2nd Benoni and 4th Benoni air scout troops. Quite simply 4th Benoni had some boys and no scouter, 2nd Benoni had very few boys and a troop scouter, and so we see that

4+2 = 1 functioning troop.

As it stands this “collaboration” is in effect until such time as both troops are strong enough to function on their own or it is deemed necessary to merge.

The joint COH felt that a common name was needed for the troop in the meantime and so, based on the model hanging in the hall, the name “Constellation” was decided upon.

Both troops have long and interesting histories.
