 (Left) An extract from the log book of the camp in April 1953. Note  that the DC donated poplars - As a recent(2006) service project we  did a bit of bush clearing at Arrowe Park - some poplars were cut  down in the process.

 These are but a small part of the history but they are  also among the oldest pictures/records I have  available, thanks to Peter le Roux of 9th Benoni for  providing them. I think these photos prove once  again that scouts are timeless, they look just like the  hooligans I deal with on friday nights.
